Weckerle meets ZEHNTAUSENDGRAD.

 

We have realized exciting projects together with Weckerle Cosmetics, in which the whole range of our expertise as a strategic partner around videos was in demand: from a product presentation with 3D visualizations, social media content, to the conception, organization and implementation of the communication of an entire collection.

About Weckerle Cosmetics:

Weckerle GmbH was founded in 1965 by Peter Weckerle in a garage. Starting with a small workshop for precision mechanics, Weckerle has since developed into a global company offering a comprehensive full-service range of color cosmetics. Today, the company is managed by Thomas Weckerle – the son of the founder – who has built up an impressive network of modern manufacturing facilities in Europe, North and South America and China. Weckerle’s customers are located all over the world.

 

Product video for MYCONIC lipstick.

 

“I used to be a bottle now I love cosmetics. What else can I be?”,
The cosmetics company commissioned us to create a product video for the “MYCONIC” lipstick – the flagship of a sustainable product family.

The MYCONIC uses 100% recycled and recyclable PET, reinforcing the concept of a circular economy. The new way of packaging innovation is revolutionary and Weckerle is thus ready to set standards for all future cosmetic trends in the direction of sustainability. Our task was to highlight exactly these extraordinary components, to communicate them and to bring them to the world.

The guiding idea behind the video production was: “Idea comes from scratch”.
Using a combination of live-action film, animation and scribbles, the video is meant to convey fun about Myconic and activate viewers.

 

Here’s to a glamorous new year

 

For Christmas 2020, we produced a video for Weckerle, through which the company addresses its customers and potential customers with a message. Wishes for Christmas and for the New Year were to be communicated and we made this possible through an animated video where we used glamorous effects and appropriate animations, as well as 3D visualizations.

The Spring/Summer collection – a special project

 

The joint project with Weckerle Cosmetics for the Spring/Summer 2021 collection was a special one for us – after all, it was the first thing we were able to realize in 2021 in our film studio, which was brand new at the time. In this studio, however, there was a great danger of confusion with a summer paradise during the shoot.

The reason: We were to stage the Spring/Summer collection of Weckerle Cosmetics and put the new products in the focus of the customers. In addition to information about the products, registrations for webinars and meetings were to be acquired.

Companies interested in cosmetics and moving with the times were identified as the central target group. Since these companies look to social media channels for inspiration, the videos should be tailored to appropriate platforms. The lightness and carefree nature of the products should be in the foreground – in line with the campaign’s motto: “Moments of Levity”.

Our power team transformed the brand-new studio into a summer paradise with projections. The focus of our shoot was lightness – we want to convey a summery feeling of lightheartedness to the viewers. Our tasks ranged from the conception and casting of the models to the cinematic realization and the production of the videos.

Weckerle’s collection encompasses 5 trends: freedom, sustainability, natural, sensory features and innovation. We embodied these trends through creative and innovative ways. Through projections of clouds, a big city, palm trees, water, forest, and grasses, we were able to create the ideal mood for the trends in our studio.

A total of 10 product videos and 1 image spot were created, tailored for the social media platforms YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Weckerle also uses the videos on its own website, trade fairs and presentations.
